LOMAH - Land of Milk and Honey

Just living life here in the Promised Land, Southern Alberta. Where the Mountains meet the prairie in a stunning sunset, surrounded in fields of gold

Kayking - S Bend

An old picture, surfing the S Bend on the Red Deer River with Denali keeping a watchful eye. It was a perfect day, surrounded by perfect friends.

Family in Waterton

A summer hike with the family and Grandparents. It was a typical Waterton day with some wind and sun. Logan hiked the whole way in to Bertha Falls

Loves of my Life

The first two loves of my life together in one picture. I remember when they came into my life, making me whole.

Me in the Broken Group

I think this is my favourite picture from last year. We did a sea kayaking trip to the Broken Group and had 4 glorious days of sun. It was a capped off with the company of great friends.

Velcro

Man how do you get this kid to let go? I tried shaking but he was just stuck there like velcro.

From 2009_04 Andrew's Baptism

We're actually on our way to eat at an old haunt... the Regent Restaurant and Logan and I are jumping over cracks. Here is my favorite pose right now, his "surprize face"

Actual Powerthirst?!?

Awhile ago, a good friend directed me to the now classic powerthirst ads (profanity warning...). These were fake ads posted by a canadian comedy group picnicface. Well seems like they were hired to do an ad for a real energy drink Braundo....

Huh.

Space Man Brad

If you didn't get the email, Mr. G states the following.

"Hi all,

Just a quick mass-email to let you know about the launch of the Herschel space telescope tomorrow morning. Our group has been working on the software for one of the instruments on this satellite for the last 7 years or so. This is a ~$3 billion mission, and much more scientifically important than the Hubble upgrades and shuttle flights that have been in the news over the
last week.

You can see a live webcast of the launch at:

Here is a promo video for it.

Lemon"aid"

Here's a little help for your Lululemon collection. Apparently they've started a sale page here. Personally I disappointed by the lack of any sale items in the male section, so I guess I'll attempt to recover by consuming a Budweiser while driving a quad, shooting small furry critters.

Take that Lulu!!

Lstudio

Came across this site recently, a winner of the webby awards. Here is a reposting from their website.

Lisa Kudrow Lisa Kudrow

The Webby Awards is thrilled to honor Lisa Kudrow with a Webby Award for Outstanding Comedic Performance. As star, co-writer, and co-producer of "Web Therapy" on lstudio.com, Lisa Kudrow set a new bar for how the Internet can be used to heightened comedic effect. Brilliantly playing a therapist who treats her patients via three-minute Webcam sessions, Kudrow has created a hilarious, cringe-inducing collection of mini-comedy masterpieces.

lstudio contains many quality shorts from comedy to documentary. Here are just a couple that I found interesting right away.

Your desk - what make you you? Perhaps your workspace.

Macros - where did we come from and where is migration taking us?

Cassini - Hey I like science.... who doesn't?

Athletically Competent

Well I'm not sure where Logan gets his athletic ability from considering I don't play any ball sports, but he's demonstrated his competence at basketball, soccer, golf and now baseball.

Go Figure....
