LOMAH - Land of Milk and Honey

Just living life here in the Promised Land, Southern Alberta. Where the Mountains meet the prairie in a stunning sunset, surrounded in fields of gold

Kayking - S Bend

An old picture, surfing the S Bend on the Red Deer River with Denali keeping a watchful eye. It was a perfect day, surrounded by perfect friends.

Family in Waterton

A summer hike with the family and Grandparents. It was a typical Waterton day with some wind and sun. Logan hiked the whole way in to Bertha Falls

Loves of my Life

The first two loves of my life together in one picture. I remember when they came into my life, making me whole.

Me in the Broken Group

I think this is my favourite picture from last year. We did a sea kayaking trip to the Broken Group and had 4 glorious days of sun. It was a capped off with the company of great friends.

The Big 3

Evan turned the big 3 this year in June and we usually pawn his birthday off with a Canada Day BBQ at my Dads.  This year we happened to also do a little family thing at Montana's.  For those that know, they put this antler hat on you and sing a song.  Not too sure if Evan found it as amusing as we did.

Possession!

We have possession of our new house today!  I'd write more, but I just walked in the door from moving boxes from the garage to the house.  I'm tired.  It can wait.

Calaway Park

Negative - Dora had to supervise the Jr. High students on a Field trip.
Positive - Dora got to take Logan to Calaway Park.

It was pretty fun day for both the Iwaasa's and even with a bit of rain they managed to have some fun.  Here are a few pictures to highlight the activities.

Dora even got some of her students to take Logan on the log ride so she didn't have to get wet.  Good thing Logan had his rain jacket with him!

Skateboarding

Deep down inside, I wanted to be able to skateboard.  My brothers could.  They even made me a board once out of their scrap parts.  I think it had a gator on it.  In the end I could do a 4 wheel slide or whatever it's really called.

For them, this video is for you.
