Gung hei faat choi

Happy New Year! Well it's a new year based on the much older calendar. I'm not sure if the Chinese use the Roman or Julian calendar, but regardless it's not the Gregorian, which is what we use. This weekend I was helping with the Chinese Cultural Societies Banquet as we celebrated the year of the pig or boar. What can we expect in the coming year? Danger Danger High Voltage!

Well I've started my welding class. Oh the fun of high voltage! The funny thing is the voltage that I'm using is only around 19 volts. I'm sure the amps are pretty high, so best to be careful when touching stuff eh?I go to the college every Monday night for about 6 weeks and learn the finer points about MIG welding.
