Solids

Well we all knew this day would come. Solids. You know that baby food stuff that you're scared to eat yourself yet you have no problem shoving it down your kids throat. Food that comes in weird combinations like chicken & bananas or apricot & liver. I dunno, just weird. Anyways it's been going alright after a slow start and he is starting to embrace the solids. LITERALLY...

Well enough of me talking see for yourselves.
P.S. Dora plans on making some of her own baby food. Any ideas? Mine is wasabi & peas!

Don't you wish it was socially acceptable to eat like that as adults? Bring on the chocolate pudding face mask!

Frank loved squash and carrot. Freeze it in ice cube trays then pop out what you need.

What's REALLY fun is to give him lots of mushed up carrots and see how many it takes till his nose turns orange. Then try it with beets! Ah the joys of experimentation... Judy

OOoo, yum! Beets n' sweets! Sweet potatoes and beets roasted for a while then smushed up. That would be a good, colourful food.
